What is kaya?
Kaya is a sweet, creamy and fragrant coconut jam or curd spread that is immensely popular in Southeast Asian Cuisine, particularly in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Our Kaya is hand crafted through small batches in East London and made with quality coconut milk, egg yolks, gula melaka, rock sugar, and pandan leaves.
We love to spread Kaya on toast with a cold slice of butter, mix it into yogurt with fruits, or even layer into cakes and various bakes - it makes for a perfect breakfast or tea-time snack!
